Above is the mission statement and very heart of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. At UNC-Chapel Hill, NROTC is an opportunity to become a leader and to serve the men and women of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

The Department of Naval Science is a part of the College of Arts & Sciences. The College supports the University’s core values encouraging diversity and equal educational and employment opportunities throughout the University community. These values are articulated in the University’s non-discrimination policy and by the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.

UNC-Chapel Hill Naval ROTC is dedicated to the development of midshipmen and cultivating them into leaders of Sailors and Marines.
